​​This year's special trip goes to the side. On this amazing motorcycle trip, we take you through 9 South states. Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Alabama, and through some of the most amazing and beautiful scenery that the United States has to offer, lakes, rivers, forests, mountains, swamps and beaches.

This trip is a trip with great motorcycle roads, but also a trip for music lovers. The tour starts and ends in stunning New Orleans, where you can enjoy the Jazz and Blues music in the French Quarter. The trip continues along the Mississippi River and up through the area where the Delta Blues music originated. Memphis visiting Elvis / Graceland and a tour of Sun Studios. Then we continue to Country Music City Nashville. In all places we would like to take some time to enjoy the music at the many nice venues. Then it is on some of the world's most amazing motorcycle roads in the Great Smoky Mountains, including the famous Dragons Tail with 318 turns 17km. We then drive to the Atlantic Coast, where we visit the beautiful and cozy southern counties of Charleston and Savannah before heading for the Gulf of Mexico where we drive along the beautiful white sandy beaches.

Day 1: Denmark - New Orleans, Louisiana

The guides from Viking Motorcycle Tours take you to the airport in New Orleans and drive you to our hotel. We hold a brief info meeting, and then relaxation and possibly a bite to eat before the quilts call.​

Day 2: New Orleans

We are going to New Orleans "The Big Easy", as the city is also called, and we begin to go down to the Mississippi River, where there will be a boat trip on a wheelbarrow. Then we discover the French Quarter, where there are always life and happy days in the area's many restaurants, bars and fun shops. In the afternoon we will pick up our motorcycles so we are ready to start our trip the next morning. Do not forget we finish the day with another visit to Bourbon Street for a good time Jazz or Blues music.

Day 3: New Orleans - Vicksburg, Mississippi

We leave New Orleans off the long bridges that lead us across the marshes to Baton Rouge, the capital of Louisiana. Then on Route 61, also known as The Blues Highway. The road is also called Great River Road, as it most beautifully follows the Mississippi River. At Natches, we drive on Natches Trace Parkway, as we follow all the way to Vicksburg, where we spend the night. We finish the day with dinner in the cozy old town center.

Day 4: Vicksburg - Memphis, Tennessee

We start the day crossing the Mississippi River, and now follow the river on the other side, to the cozy town of Lake Providence. Then we drive into the state of Arkansas where we shortly cross the river again. We drive again on Route 61 through the area where The Delta Blues music originated. On the way we stop at a small cozy Blues Museum. Late in the day we arrive in Memphis, where we have two nights.

Day 5: Memphis

We are discovering in Memphis, probably best known for Elvis "The King". We start the day with a visit to Graceland where Elvis lived and is now buried. After a fantastic tour of Graceland and adjacent museums, we take a trip to Sun Studios, where he recorded his first single. We end the day Downtown, where we are going to visit Beale Street, where restaurants and Blues bars are side by side and create a great mood.

Day 6: Memphis - Nashville, Tennessee

We leave Memphis and drive down small roads through the beautiful Tennessee countryside until we encounter the Natches Trace Parkway again. We follow it all the way to Nashville. We go sightseeing in Nashville, where you can visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and the Johnny Cash Museum. We finish the day on Broadway, where Country Barser and restaurants are located side by side with the incredibly good atmosphere.

Day 7: Nashville - Chattanooga, Tennessee

From Nashville we drive on little roads to Lynchburg City, where we are going to a tour of Jack Daniels Distillery. It's a fun and exciting experience to see how the world's famous whiskey is being made. In the old town of Lynchburg, there is ample opportunity to buy souvenirs. We continue on little roads to Chattanooga, where we take a look at Lookout Mountain. Here there is a great view of the city. There will also be a visit to Ruby Falls, which is a fantastic waterfall far into a mountain. We finish the day with a visit to the Chickamauga Battlefield, a battlefield of the Civil War with an exciting museum.

Day 8: Chattanooga - Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Today one of the very great nature experiences awaits. From Chattanooga we drive into the Appalachian mountains with beautiful waterfalls, impressive mountains, lakes, rivers and small cozy towns. This really is a great experience. We will drive on: Cherohala Skyway, Foothills Parkway and US 129, the road is also called The Dragons Tail, with 318 turns 17 km. It's one of the roads that Americans should rather try once in a lifetime. We end the day in the tourist town of Pigeon Forge, which is Dolly Parton's birthplace. Here you can visit her amusement park Dollywood.

Day 9: Pigeon Forge - Greenville, South Carolina

The first stop of the day today is yet another tourist city of Gatlinburg. After that, another huge wildlife experience is waiting for us to drive through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Here, of course, we make lots of stops along the way, through this beautiful park with lots of beautiful mountains and the coolest MC roads. After the park we drive a bit on the famous Blue Ridge Parkway to Maggie Valley, where we will visit a small but amazing motorcycle museum. We also visit the city of Cherokee, which, as the name suggests, is an Indian city. Here there will be ample opportunity to buy souvenirs. We continue by little roads to Greenville, South Carolina, where we spend the night.

Day 10: Greenville - Charleston, South Carolina

We drive first to Columbia, the capital of South Carolina, and then by smaller roads along beautiful lakes and lush forests. We embrace, to the Atlantic and the city called the Pearl of the South, the old beautiful city of Charleston, here we have two nights.

Day 11: Charleston

The day offers sightseeing in beautiful Charleston. However, we will start the day with a visit to a plantation where we will have an exciting tour. The rest of the day takes place with a tour of the beautiful old town with the impressive beautiful south-eastern houses.

Day 12: Charleston - Valdosta, Georgia

We leave Charleston and drive off smaller roads south along the coast to another of the beautiful cities of the south, namely to Savannah, where we visit the cozy old town. After Savannah, we now drive back into the country, through Georgia's lush nature, and keep in several nice little southern towns before arriving in Valdosta where we spend the night.

Day 13: Valdosta - Fort Walton Beach, Florida

Another beautiful day is waiting ahead. We are now driving to Florida, and first visit the state capital, Tallahassee, then we drive to the Gulf of Mexico. We follow the incredibly beautiful road 98, where we drive all the way down the water's edge. We visit Panama City, and continue along the water to the city of Fort Walton Beach. Here is our hotel all the way down to the beautiful white sandy beach.

Day 14: Fort Walton Beach - New Orleans, Louisiana

We continue a little along the water before we drive into Alabama. Here we keep in the swamps at the city of Mobile. Maybe we're lucky to see alligators. After Mobile, we now drive into Mississippi, where we drive all the way down to the water until we reach the long bridges that will lead us into New Orleans. We then drive to the landlord and deliver our motorcycles. Then there is transportation to our hotel. In the evening there will be the opportunity for a last visit to the French Quarter.

Day 15: New Orleans - Denmark.

Departure day from New Orleans. After departure, we go sightseeing or shopping. We drive together to the airport and hope for a good trip home.

Day 16: Denmark.
